We are a full-service design & build home service meaning we make it easier than ever before to realise your new home dream, whatever your budget.

When you choose a Teach Nua modular or pre-designed building, our expert team guides you through each step of the process, from site selection, initial scope and budget to planning, construction and certification. Our aim is to ensure maximum efficiency of the build and minimum worry for you.

Phase One: Modular & Traditional Build Home Design Services

Phase one starts with a consultation between you and the Teach Nua experts. Our inhouse Architect will work with you to choose the perfect option to meet your brief, turning your ideas and lifestyle requirements into real drawings for your home on your own site, creating a customised package and 3D renderings so you can get a real feel for what your home will look like.

During the design process, we will guide your choices to ensure that your build stays on budget and within your timeline. This phase includes the discussion and planning of the interior design of your build as well as the external design.

When all details are finalised and you have approved the final proposal, we will submit a planning or exemption application for your home and arrange for percolation tests and topographical surveys (where required).

Phase Two: Onsite Planning and Preparation

With the design agreed and planning permission (or exemption) approved, our focus moves towards the construction of your home.

Whilst onsite, Teach Nua’s engineers and project managers will assess the site, complete all required surveys, and carry out groundworks, foundations, and services preparations to ensure the site is construction ready. For all of our projects, planning conditions, inspections, and logistics are coordinated so the project can move smoothly into the build and installation stage.

Throughout each step, our Project Managers will ensure that all requirements are met and that your needs are surpassed.

Phase Three: Delivery and Construction

Each modular home is precision-built in sections within a controlled factory environment. Each module is carefully constructed by skilled tradespeople and includes the structural frame, insulation, windows, services, and the interior finishes, ensuring consistent quality and minimal delays caused by weather.

When complete, the modules are craned into position on the prepared foundations. The home is then securely assembled, connected, and finished on site, creating a high-quality, energy-efficient home in a significantly shorter timeframe than traditional construction.

For a traditional-build project, our team will be involved from start to finish – constructing your home on the site over a longer period, with final handover and certification taking approximately 12-18 months from start date.
